1.Project Engineer - Shanghai(项目工程师 - 上海)

Major Areas of Accountability:

1. Presale

Provides pre-sale support for sales and applications engineers.

· Plans and commits to project costs and schedule prior to quotation. Provide sales with cost estimates of local contents during the pre-sale stage.

· Provides technical support, conceptual design drawings, and technical data in support of the sale.

2. Order confirmation

Upon receipt of order, Assists in confirming all aspects of the order as outlined in the quotation and other materials submitted with the sales order.

3. Project definition

Assists in defining the scope of work and determines the structures of the project team needed to support the tasks.

4. Assists in manufacturing process

Oversees the project flow during the manufacturing phase of the project.

5. Supports Closure--Insures the system is installed, accepted, placed in warranty, and closed when all invoice obligations have been satisfied.

6. Performance measures

Provide project execution status on a regular basis to customers, Customer Support and Field Service functions.

7. Own and ensure timely resolution of after sales support requests.

Qualification:

- BS degree in Engineering.

- In a technical field with 5 years relevant technical experience in specification, development, design, integration, and/or application engineering in a project environment or equivalent.

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in engineering supervision in a project environment or equivalent.

- Must have demonstrated the ability to drive change and continuous improvement across a broad level/scope.

- Ability to build relationships, lead cross-functional teams, and build consensus among a large group.

- Able to communicate in written and spoken English.

Regularly monitors progress against the plan and makes modifications, as required, throughout the year.

2. Uses SFDC on a daily basis for all lead, contact, activity, forecasting, account management and time management monitoring, recording and reporting functions.

3. Responds promptly to inquiries and seeks out and calls upon potential customers to identify their needs for products or services, and qualifies leads. Directs customer inquiries and orders to the most efficient sales channel.

4. Assembles and coordinates sales teams, as needed, for specific key opportunity or consultative team pursuits.

5. Builds successful relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in existing and prospective customers.

6. Generates proposals/quotations, independently or with the assistance of other sales functions, in accordance with standard procedures and pricing guidelines. Develops consensus with customers on MTS value proposition(s) prior to solution building. Ensures proposal meets customer needs and clearly presents MTS’ value proposition.

7. Develops and maintains knowledge and expertise of the following areas to enhance sales effectiveness.

8. Continuously monitors and responds to competitor activities at prospects, and provides timely reporting on competitive activity to sales management and marketing.

9. Uses a system process to take opportunities through the pursuit cycle, ensuring each step is conducted and complete in a satisfactory manner prior to moving to the next step/stage.

10. Performs administrative responsibilities in connection with sales accountabilities, as required.

-Solid understanding of test technologies. Fundamental knowledge of test methodology; Knowledge of competitive products; Understands how specific tests are used within the customer’s environment.

-Knowledge of the sales process; Demonstrated ability of sale process leadership.

-Proficient at selling standard products with little or no AE support.

-Able to sell custom systems with management/AE support.

-Actively seeks out and identifies new opportunities within assigned accounts; Presentation skills and ability to interface and work directly with customers.
